BS Shape Code 13 – U Bar Reinforcement

Also known as marquee anchors and rebar staples

Shape code 13 is what we commonly refer to as a U Bar, however, rebar bent with 2 90 degree bends might refer to shape code 21, or if the bends are more than 90 degrees, shape code 25. U shaped rebar is used commonly in reinforcing concrete structures, as well as for anchoring temporary constructions in soft ground, or more semi-permanent anchors in concrete. We fabricate U bar reinforcement on a daily basis, and can meet any length or specifications for all common dimensions of rebar (H10, H12, H16). With semi-automated rebar bending machines on-site and a highly experienced team, we can maintain a rapid output on almost any level of demand for steel u bars, with delivery UK-wide.
