For heavy duty industrial applications, where the concrete slab is a minimum of 200mm deep, A393 reinforcement mesh is the grade to choose. Concrete may have high compressive strength, but it is weak in terms of tensile strength, making it highly susceptible to shearing forces. Adding the right amount of steel reinforcement mitigates against this, and provides a slab that is durable, inherently strong, and long-lasting. For those tough commercial builds, A393 mesh is the most suitable reinforcement product available.
