BS Shape Code 11 – L Bars

L Bars bent to shape code 11 are simply lengths of H10-H20 rebar with a single 90 degree bend at a specified point. L shaped bars are used in reinforcement for elements such as pile caps, ground beams, and integrations between footings and columns to name a few. Steel L bars are simply to reinforce 90 degree joints between elements, but can also be used to fabricate reinforcement elements on site in combination with other shape codes. We have the capacity to fabricate L bars in high quantities with very fast turnaround (i.e. 2-3 days in many cases) in these most common diameters:

• H10 L Bars
• H12 L Bars
• H16 L Bars
• Other sizes are available (please call to confirm)

Of course, we can also cater for similar shape codes with non-90 degree bends, such as shape codes 12, 13, 14, 15.

Please Note: Any non-standard shapes are designated Shape Code 99 and require fully dimensioned sketches.
